The 12th consecutive Senior All-Star Showcase was one of the best ever! On March 29th, seniors from all over Southern California’s CIF Southern Section were honored by invitations to represent their high school teams one last time. The athletes are selected from members of the Southern California High School Soccer Coaches Association, which represents Southern Section high school soccer teams from Southern and Central California.
The games were played at La Mirada High School’s Goodman Stadium. Teams were broken up into divisions and then the divisions were paired up for the matches. Division 6 and 7 were put together to compete against D5, D3 vs D4, D1 vs D2. Both boys and girls games were held for each pairing.
The SCHSSCA also gave out $1,200 dollars in scholarships to deserving seniors who had been nominated by their coaches and schools. We have posted some photos of the day, enjoy and we will see you next year on March 28, 2015 (planned date, may change if needed).
